Students visit our farm

We always enjoy having students visit our farms.   
 
Medical students from the Ramachandrapuram university visited our farm in Puriyambakkam. We witnessed students having a great time at the farm as well as forging amazing connections between organic agricultural practices and how beneficial they are to human health.  
 
When we asked about their takeaways, the discussion turned out to become incredibly insightful which revolved around organic farming, soil and humans. 
   
Here is something that stood out when we spoke to them- “Not only is the production of organic food better for human health and the environment than conventional production, but emerging science also tells us in addition to lacking the toxic residues of conventional foods, organic food is more nutritious and beneficial to the human body, simply because of the way it’s grown”.   
 
The thoughts they brought on to the table about organic and their understanding of soil and food were truly incredible.   
 
We wish to host and interact with more and more students at our farms in the future!
