What is Organic Batter anyway?
Batters are prepared by fermenting a blended mix of rice and lentils overnight and are used to prepare many dishes in all parts of India. Be it fluffy idlis, crispy dosas, roasted uthappams, or fluffy-on-the-inside-and-crispy-on-the-outside paddus, South Indian breakfast is incomplete without these family favourites.
But recent commercialization, as well as the introduction of pesticides and fertilizers, has taken a toll on the purity of the batter. Massive silos of rice and lentils are sprayed with chemicals to prevent infestation. The same residue ends up in your favourite food.
So what’s so special about our Batter?

Storage
Akshayakalpa Organic Batter has a shelf life of 10 DAYS from the date of its manufacture and must always be stored at a temperature of 3-4 degrees centigrade. Once opened, it should be shifted to an air-tight container and consumed within 48 hours.
