What is Multifloral Raw Honey anyway?
Honey, when sourced from honeybees that collect it from multiple pollinating variants of plants and flowers, is termed as multifloral honey. The same honey, when left unpasteurized and unprocessed, in its raw and natural form, is termed as raw honey.
As Akshayakalpa is raw unprocessed, unadulterated honey, we have all the essential nutrients in the honey preserved. Our honey is rich in antioxidants, enzymes, and minerals including iron, zinc, potassium, calcium, phosphorous, magnesium, and selenium. Vitamins found in honey include vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, pantothenic acid, and niacin. It is honey – as the bees intended it to be.
What makes it Good for the Planet?
There are two ways to get certified organic honey: One, by taking honey from deep inside forest reserves from the tribal and local population. The second is by setting up bee boxes in huge organic fields and/or close to the forest boundaries.
Akshayakalpa believes in the second method so as to not disturb the forest flora and fauna. Forest honey collection is also a safety risk and endangers both – the bees and the people collecting honey from hives high up on trees.
Storage
Honey can be stored indefinitely in airtight containers as it does not spoil. Nonetheless, we recommend that you use the honey within 36 months of packaging. As our honey is raw and we do not process it, it can get crystallized in colder weather, but this is perfectly fine. Just keep it in warm water or natural sunlight for a few minutes. The colour and texture may change over time, which is natural.

We maintain stringent hygiene measures at our farms as well as our packaging facilities to ensure that our products are untouched by human hands, free from antibiotics, contain no harmful chemical additives, and pesticides.
