Slide Country Eggs The benefits of backyard poultry at your doorstep!
What are country eggs and backyard poultry?

Backyard poultry is a traditional practice of rearing small numbers of native hens under natural conditions with a free-range system.

Country eggs, also known as ‘non-factory’ eggs are from hens that are reared humanely and ethically. The hens are fed a healthier diet resulting in eggs that are more nutritious. Country eggs are also antibiotic-free and hormone-free – making them the better choice.

Know your Eggs better!

Part of a limited flock-size with a maximum of 100, hens on the Akshayakalpa farms are free-roaming with access to the backyard of the house and farms without being restricted. A smaller number of hens per farm create a stress-free environment where each hen has ample space to roam, manifest their natural behavior of exploring, foraging for insects, scratch in the ground, sun-bathe and dust-bathe – resulting in healthy, nutritious eggs.

Because these country eggs are all-natural, they are smaller in size than commercial eggs and may also vary in shape, size and colour (brown, light brown, whitish brown) from each other.
