What is UHT milk?
‘Ultra-heat treated’ milk is milk that has been sterilized by heating it to a high temperature of about 140-142 degrees Celsius for 2 seconds, to kill bacteria in milk and increasing its shelf-life naturally. Storage
Akshayakalpa Organic Milk (UHT) has a shelf life of 6 months from date of packaging. It can be stored at room temperature. However, once opened, it should be refrigerated and consumed within 24 hours.
