Nature has it all sorted out
Often agricultural fields and gardens are inhabited by different pests and insects. You may worry that these pests will spoil your crop or garden. And you may even bend in towards using pesticides which would then affect your crops and even the food you consume in the long run.
So, what’s the instant solution?
Our suggestion would be – Let nature be! It has everything sorted out.
If pests exist, nature does provide its pesticide. For example, spiders and ants are natural biological pest controllers.
Weaver ants can reduce pest numbers and their damage and increase yields in multiple crops. Similarly, spiders mimic pesticides and kill pests that spoil crops with various foraging strategies. Consuming large numbers of insect pests as prey, they have the trait of killing all insects living in their territory. Hence, spiders and ants are favourable biological control agents in the agricultural ecosystem and can be successfully used to check pest populations in the field or any home garden.
So next time you see a spider or an ant settling in your garden or your agricultural field, just leave it be. Nature has it all sorted out!
