Farmer – Our superhero

The king may rule over land and sea,   
The engineer may change the way this world is structured,   
The strong soldier ride in pomp and pride,   
The sailor roam over the ocean,   
But this or that, whatever befall   
The farmer must feed all.   
 
Unrevealing the secrets of a superhero!   
 
Food is everything. We need it to think, function and even sleep!   
 
Like any superhero, farmers go unnoticed behind the delicious food we consume. And like every superhero who keeps us safe, until we cease reaping what they have sown, we don’t think of them. Life may not always be on track for them, but they go out of their way to keep it on track for us.   
 
At Akshayakalpa we believe that our superheroes are our farmers, they have the power to do good or bad, and hence the power to seal our fate in any direction (healthy or unhealthy). A good farmer cares about the quality of his produce. He/she can do this only when they know that they have a secure future. 
 
This is not the case with all farmers, most farmers worry about fixing a broken pump somewhere, taking their cows to a vet, or getting an electrical point fixed. Whereas, Akshayakalpa farmers don’t have to worry about these challenges. All their problems and challenges are ours! We have a skin-in-the-game partnership with all our farmers. Our farm extension team empowers farmers with resources – technological, mechanical, financial, and academic – which allow them to focus completely on their work and do what they love the most, farming.  
 
We at Akshayakalpa believe in the philosophy – Do good and good will come back to you.   
 
For the past 13 years, we have been working with good farmers. Farmers who care about the quality of produce. And works meticulously to produce nutritious organic milk with no nasties. While we take care of the rest.
