Frequently Asked Questions - Farm Visit
Is transport included?
We do not provide transport to and from the farm. Our guests would have to use their own mode of transport. The driving distance is approximately 150kms from Bangalore city which usually takes about three and a half hours to cover.
What is the total number of visitors allowed per day?
For a day visit to the farm, we can accommodate 50 visitors per day. For the overnight stay, we have facilities to accommodate 50 visitors. However, we are in the process of creating infrastructure to increase the capacity for overnight guests.
How much prior should we schedule the farm visit?
Visitors are requested to schedule the booking at least 4 days prior to the visit to allow us to make appropriate arrangements.
Can we purchase organic fruits, vegetables, coconuts and dairy products during our visit to the Akshayakalpa farm?
Yes, absolutely! Please reach out to any of our representatives during your visit and they will be happy to guide you.
Are the farm visits open to everyone?
Currently, as a part of our COVID protocols, visits are open to residents of Bangalore only. However, as the restrictions ease, we will be open to residents in other regions too.
What are the precautionary measures taken during a farm visit?
The safety and well-being of our visitors is the priority of us at Akshayakalpa farms. Strict COVID protocols and measures are implemented and followed throughout the farm visit
- All tents are sanitized before each visit.
- All guides and employees undergo temperature checks every day. They wear face masks and disposable gloves at all times.
- Temperature checks and sanitization is carried out for all visitors entering the premises.
Are last-minute cancellations allowed?
We do not allow last-minute cancellations. If you would like to cancel your booking, please call our customer care at 9535388122 at least 2 days prior to your visit date.
